THE DAD LIFE
Know the dad you are. Build the dad you want to be.
Figure out what you’re doing well as a dad, and what to work on next. Online, alongside other dads doing the same.
Dads aren’t born. They’re built.
We expect a lot from dads.
We prepare them for surprisingly little of it.
We’re expected to provide, protect, stay connected, handle pressure, and know what our kids need, usually without anyone ever showing us how.
That’s the Fatherhood Preparation Gap. It isn’t a failure of fathers. It’s a gap nobody filled.
DadLife exists to fill it. Not with another list of parenting techniques, but by helping you see the father you already are, what’s strong, and what to build next.
It starts with knowing yourself.
Know where you are. Know where to build.
Every Start and Work session is shaped around the dads in that group, so the conversation stays on what actually matters to you, not material that doesn’t apply to anyone.
Built by Daryl Thomson, a dad and counsellor, drawing on fatherhood research.

Reading Your Child is the skill of seeing what’s underneath your kid’s behaviour: the slammed door that isn’t really about the door. It’s one of the eleven areas in the DadLife: Fire profile. Answer 3 questions, see where you land, and get two things to try this week. Takes about 2 minutes.
It’s $10, and your $10 comes off The Start if you join.
